Printing & Collecting Guide
How to print Merry Sets (or any printable) at home or at a print shop, choose cardstock, cut, round corners, laminate and store your set. Download the printable guide (US Letter) · A4 — free, and included in every purchase.
Which paper weight should I use?
Coloring pages and games: everyday 20–24 lb (75–90 gsm) copy paper. Certificates, gift tags, labels, tickets and the binder cover: 65–110 lb cover cardstock (about 175–300 gsm). Check your printer manual — many home inkjets handle up to roughly 80–110 lb cover stock; feed one sheet at a time if it jams.
Printer settings
Open the PDF in a free PDF reader and print at 100% / "Actual size" — not "Fit to page". Pick the file that matches your paper: US Letter (8.5×11 in) or A4. Use "Best" quality for colored pages.
Printing at a print shop
Any copy center can print the files. Ask for "print at 100% on 80 lb or 100 lb cover stock, single-sided". Bring the PDF on a USB stick or email it. The files are for personal use, so print copies for your own family or classroom.
Cutting
Cut along the dashed lines with a paper trimmer, or scissors and a ruler. For crisp gift tags a grown-up can use a craft knife on a cutting mat.
Corner rounding and holes
A 1/4 in (6 mm) corner-rounder punch gives tags, tickets and cards a finished look. Punch the dot on tags and ornaments, then add twine or ribbon.
Laminating
Laminate bingo cards, the checklist and the countdown chart to reuse them every year with dry-erase markers. A basic home laminator with 3 mil pouches is plenty.
Sleeves and binder pages
Keep your collection in a 3-ring binder with clear sheet protectors and slide the Merry Sets binder cover into the front pocket. Small cut-out cards fit 9-pocket trading-card pages. The free set checklist shows which packs you have.
